The NT gives us Jesus as God's Son, not like Adam or angel's might be called God's Son; but, the Only Born of God. (Not just Avatar) Son, in His case, appears Divine in substance and essence. (The opposition is that He was a man only.)

We get saved by believing in Jesus. No prophet would say that. He's our spiritual husband, master, judge and so forth- and no other person can take that title.

Jn 1:1 The Word was God. Not a God, for there's only one God. The direct article in Greek is left out to show that it's not the subject of the sentence. It is careful not to say that God was the Word. The Word then (vs 14) took on flesh.

He was in the form of God, says Phil 2:6, but took the form of a man.

Jesus took on a man's body in the womb of a virgin. Col 2:9 In Him(Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Colossians also says that all things were made by and for Jesus. John 1, nothing that was made, was made without Jesus. Jesus was not made, then.

Hebrews: He always was.

Jesus said, before Abraham was, I am. “I am” refers to God, in Exodus. They thought He was making HimSelf equal to God thus tried to stone Him.

And He is Alpha and Omega, and King of Kings. Jesus is called God's right hand.

God is jealous to be the only Saviour and Christ is Saviour.

It's clear that God will judge the world, and Christ will do it.

Jn 10:38b believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him. Also: he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father. Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me- He doeth the works. Joh 14:11a Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me.

Twice God calls Jesus His Son. (Demons would say it.) His enemies killed Him for making HimSelf out to be God! He didn’t promote it a lot, but let others worship Him and blessed Thomas who called Him God. He did humbly refer to HimSelf as the Son of God. God approved Him by miracles.

God even calls Jesus God, in Heb and Psalms.
- God commanded all angels to worship Jesus because unlike them He's God's Son. He's the exact image of God's person. He purges sins and upholds all things by His power... (First 6 verses of Hebrews)

God sent both His Son in the flesh to save us FROM sin, and the Spirit into our hearts to save us TO God.

I John 5 says what we all know is true, that the Three are ONE. Not three. Jesus also says, I and Father are ONE, not two. Paul tells us that there’s ONE God.

If a critic says the verses I point out are corruptions... Then realize: the last NT author died about AD 100. Our earliest but surviving NT fragment/copies today are mostly from around AD200.
